It’s a proud moment for all Indian citizens as we celebrate the first National Space Day on 23rd August 2024, marking the historic success of Chandrayaan III. On this special occasion, Prof. Shibesh Kumar Jas Pacif had the honor of being the Chief Guest at the Regional Science Centre (RSC), Bhubaneswar. The event featured the inauguration of the Chandrayaan Mission Gallery, followed by an engaging talk on “Cosmic Curiosity: Astronomy, Telescopes, and Developing Scientific Temper.” Prof. Pacif also had the pleasure of guiding students in assembling a 2-inch customized telescope.
